Volunteer Work

      I am passionate about service work. In the past I have volunteered with the Special Olympics and other philanthropic organizations. I am currently serving at Lake Travis Middle School where I mentor a group of sixth grade girls. I am a part of a team of six leaders that cover this school. In the Austin West district there are two high schools and four middle schools and each has a team like mine which is  assigned to serve that school.

I also am involved in a student organization dedicated to serving incoming freshmen at UT. This organization puts on a camp every summer before school starts to give freshmen a chance to get connected. Through this organization I get to mentor two new UT students. I really love doing this  because I was in the place that these two girls are in just a year ago so I can relate to their lives easily.
