Experience

Swim U Swim School
May 2013-July 2013
Office Manager
During my time at Swim U I was in charge of all of the clerical operations. This included selling memberships, training new employees, answering phones, responding to emails, updating social media, processing payments, and scheduling. While I was there we saw a major increase in membership sales and in overall revenue. I really enjoyed selling swim lessons to parents because learning to swim is crucial for a child's safety.

Lucky Brand Jeans

June 2013-August 2013
Sales Associate
I worked for Lucky Brand at the same time that I worked at Swim U. I really liked the change of pace between management and sales. At Lucky I went above and beyond the sales goals set by the company. I got to put my fashion experience to use in styling customers and then I used my business skills to sell them the outfit. It was really beneficial to be able to seamlessly blend my two majors into one field.

Emler Swim School

May 2011-June 2012
Swim Instructor/Party Host/Office
The slogan at Emler is “People who love kids, teaching kids to love swimming.” This statement is embodied in all things that Emler does. I started working here when I was 17 as a summer swim instructor. I went through a lengthy training process and finally was promote to swim instructor. Once school started back up I kept a foot in the door at Emler by working birthday parties. During the parties I was in charge of all operations of the facility from open to close. This experience along with the office work that I did helped me a lot in my management position at Swim U.
